Casino Foyer

The 360-square-metre Casino Foyer on the second floor of Congress Innsbruck seems to float above the world: its large panorama windows grant sweeping views over the rugged summits of the Nordkette mountain range, where Maximilian I used to hunt. Adjoining the Saal Innsbruck, the foyer is dominated by an impressive sculpture. Die große Kristalline is one of the most influential public works by the Tirolean sculptor Franz Pöhacker (1927-2021). It is a wonderful place to socialise, exchange views and communicate openly.
