International cooperation: CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS in Grenoble

CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS 3CS, a platform for urban cable car solutions, will be presented in France for the first time this year following its premiere in Innsbruck.

New stage for urban mobility

With CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS 3CS, Congress Messe Innsbruck is bringing an innovative platform for urban cable car solutions to MOUNTAIN PLANET in Grenoble. From 21 to 23 April 2026, the format, which was first presented at INTERALPIN in Innsbruck in 2025, will be held in cooperation with ALPEXPO. The aim is to bring together leading manufacturers, transport companies, authorities and political decision-makers to promote international exchange.

3CS as a pioneer for sustainable cable car solutions

‘INTERALPIN has established itself as the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies and enjoys the trust of the industry. With the new event and brand CITY CABLE CAR SOLUTIONS 3CS, we are giving the topic of urban cable car solutions a clear structure and an international stage,’ explains Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck. ‘Together with INTERALPIN, we want to offer a global stage for the promising topic of urban ropeway solutions,’ emphasises Jérôme Riff, Managing Director of ALPEXPO. Supported by industry leaders such as Doppelmayr and the HTI Group, 3CS is set to become a central meeting place for sustainable mobility concepts in the long term. The main congress programme will take place on 22 April and will particularly strengthen dialogue in French-speaking markets.
