19.08.2025
Congress Messe Innsbruck reports positive interim results: high-profile conferences and international participants underscore its central importance.
Strong interim results for the 2025 convention
With a large number of high-profile specialist events in the first half of 2025, Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI) is confirming its position as the leading congress location in western Austria. Highlights included the 27th Innsbruck Cardiology Congress, the Annual Meeting of the Austrian Society of Neurology (ÖGN), and the European Congress of Calcified Tissue Society (ECTS). Numerous events with international participation took place, promoting interdisciplinary exchange and scientific excellence. “The range of topics, the international participants, and the positive response underscore our strength as a competent partner for scientific congresses,” said Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck. Particular emphasis was placed on the modern infrastructure and proximity to university facilities, which ideally promote exchange between research and practice.
Outlook for further highlights
The second half of 2025 promises further highlights: From August 25 to 29, the annual meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP) will bring over 1,500 participants to Innsbruck. The congress year will conclude with the International Wood Construction Forum (IHF) in December, which attracted around 2,900 participants last year.
