Public transportation partnership extended: Trade show ticket still valid as a transit pass

Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI), the Tyrol Public Transportation Association (VVT), and Innsbruck Public Transportation (IVB) will continue to work together to promote free and sustainable travel.

Free Travel to and from the Trade Fair for Visitors

The successful partnership between Congress Messe Innsbruck, VVT, and IVB has been extended through 2029. Visitors can continue to use their trade show ticket to ride local public transportation in Tyrol for free when traveling to and from the event. This offer applies to all CMI public trade fairs (such as the Innsbrucker Hersbtmesse, Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse, and the Alpinmesse). It makes it easier to travel from all Tyrolean districts, saves time and eliminates the need to search for parking, and ensures a relaxed trade show experience. The trade fair ticket serves as a fare ticket for commuter trains, regional trains, buses, and streetcars—excluding long-distance service. This ensures that Congress Messe Innsbruck remains conveniently and sustainably accessible.
