Formula 1 legend Ralf Schumacher at the FAFGA 2026
27.07.2026
With Ralf Schumacher, FAFGA 2026 is bringing one of the best-known figures in international motorsport to the stage of the FAFGA FUTURE FEAST.
From the cockpit to the tourism industry
The former Formula 1 driver, who now also works as a hotelier and winemaker, will speak on 20 September at the Tyrolean Trade Fair for Gastronomy, Hospitality and Design about excellence, teamwork, decisive leadership and dealing with change. Combined with innovations from high-quality exhibitors, a strong focus on artificial intelligence and new networking opportunities, FAFGA serves as a platform for the future of tourism and hospitality in Tyrol and beyond.
When the local tourism industry gathers at Messe Innsbruck from 20 to 22 September, the focus will be on innovations and new developments, fresh ideas and personal exchange. Under the motto “FAFGA MEETS FUTURE”, FAFGA will become the central platform for hotels and catering businesses in Tyrol. A highlight will be the FAFGA FUTURE FEAST, which combines current topics for the future with high-profile personalities and practical insights. Formula 1 legend Ralf Schumacher will kick things off on the opening day, Sunday 20 September.
FAFGA FUTURE FEAST: Driving the future of tourism
“FAFGA sees itself as a platform for the future of the tourism and hospitality sectors in Tyrol. With international figures, innovative concepts and practical formats, we are creating a framework on the FAFGA FUTURE FEAST innovation stage that fosters inspiration and exchange, and provides valuable impetus for the local industry,” reports Hansjörg Stern from the interim management team at Congress Messe Innsbruck (CMI). “Formula 1 and the hotel and hospitality industry have more in common than one might think at first glance – success comes from strong teams, smart decisions and a willingness to constantly evolve. It is precisely these topics that will take centre stage at FAFGA 2026. In Ralf Schumacher, we have secured a speaker who authentically embodies these values and can offer practical food for thought,” says FAFGA project manager Stefan Kleinlercher.
