High visitor turnout at the Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse
16.03.2026
Around 35,700 people attended the 41st Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse, which included a motor show and a sustainability fair – a major attraction for innovation and inspiration.
Innovation and diversity delight visitors
The Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse (Tyrolean Spring Fair), featuring the Tiroler Autosalon (Tyrolean Motor Show) and the Nachhaltigkeitsmesse (Sustainability Fair), attracted 35,700 visitors. Around 330 exhibitors showcased new products and innovations in sectors such as mobility, gardening, health and sustainable consumption. “The fair is a key meeting place for inspiration and advice,” emphasised Christian Mayerhofer, Managing Director of Congress Messe Innsbruck. Visitors appreciated the opportunity to test products directly and seek advice. According to a survey, over 80 per cent made a purchase during the fair or planned to do so afterwards. The varied supporting programme, featuring talks and hands-on activities, was also very well received.
Tiroler Autosalon: Focus on modern mobility
At Western Austria’s largest motor show, the 36th Tiroler Autosalon, Tyrolean car dealers showcased the full spectrum of modern mobility, from efficient powertrains, innovative features and driver assistance systems to forward-looking mobility concepts. The Motor Show presented over 180 models from 40 brands. “The model launches and the personal advice were particularly appreciated,” said Stefan Kleinlercher, Head of Trade Fairs at Congress Messe Innsbruck.
Sustainability as a key issue
Coinciding with the Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse, the Tiroler Nachhaltigkeitsmesse took place on Saturday and Sunday in Hall D. Together with around 40 exhibiting companies, it focused on topics such as the circular economy, resource-efficient consumption, climate protection and sustainable innovations. The Nachhaltigkeitsmesse showcased solutions for resource-efficient consumption and climate protection. “Workshops and interactive activities such as the bike cinema were very well received,” explained project manager Barbara Sander.
Positive feedback and outlook
Over 80 per cent of visitors would recommend the fair to others. Project manager Christoph Heuschneider summed up: “The diversity and quality make the fair an attractive meeting place for all generations.” The next Tiroler Frühjahrsmesse will take place from 11 to 14 March 2027.
